This Privacy Policy explains how Growth Management, LLC, doing business as Hello Terpenes ("Hello Terpenes," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information. It applies when you visit helloterpenes.com (the "Site"), buy our products, subscribe to our emails, or contact us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. This policy is part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

Contact and account details: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and account login details.
Order information: products purchased, order notes such as bulk profile instructions, order history, and communications about your orders.
Payment information: Payments are processed by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We may receive limited details, such as the card type, the last four digits, and the billing ZIP code.
Age confirmation: your confirmation that you are 21 or older, and any age or identity verification details needed to complete an order.
Messages and business details: information you send through our contact form or by email, including business, wholesale, or bulk inquiries, and your company name if you provide it.
Marketing preferences: your email address and preferences when you subscribe to new-release notifications or other updates.

Information collected automatically

Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, time on page, and general location derived from your IP address.
Cookies and similar technologies: See Section 5.

Information from others

Shipping carriers may give us delivery and tracking updates.
Payment processors and fraud-prevention services may give us fraud and verification signals.
Social media platforms, such as Instagram, may give us information when you interact with our accounts, under those platforms' own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

process, ship, and track your orders, and send order and shipping confirmations;
verify age and eligibility, and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized transactions;
create and manage your account;
answer questions and provide customer support, including under our Customer Satisfaction Policy;
send marketing emails about new terpenes, sales, and promotions, if you have subscribed, which you can stop at any time;
operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site and our products;
comply with legal, tax, accounting, and shipping regulations, including rules for shipping flammable goods; and
enforce our Terms and protect our rights, property, and safety and those of our customers.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as follows:

Service providers that help us run our business under contracts that limit how they may use your information. These include:
- website hosting and e-commerce platform providers;
- payment processors;
- shipping carriers and fulfillment tools;
- email marketing providers;
- analytics providers; and
- IT, security, accounting, and professional advisers.
Legal and safety reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is needed to protect rights, property, or safety, or to investigate fraud.
Business transfers, if Hello Terpenes is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. Your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
With your consent, or at your direction.

4. Marketing Communications

If you subscribe, we will send you emails about new terpene releases, sales, and other updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email staff@helloterpenes.com to opt out. We will still send transactional messages, such as order confirmations and shipping updates, after you opt out.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to:

keep you signed in and remember your cart;
remember your age confirmation and preferences;
understand how visitors use the Site

We use Google Analytics to understand Site traffic. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some Site features, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without them. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising, for the browser that sends the signal. Our Site does not otherwise respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. We keep order and transaction records as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, which is generally seven (7) years. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. These include encrypted (HTTPS) connections and payment processing by PCI-compliant providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your account password confidential, and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Age Restriction and Children's Privacy

The Site and our products are only for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21, and we never knowingly collect it from children under 13. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Know and access the personal information we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate personal information;
Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
Get a copy of your personal information in a portable format;
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling; and
Appeal our decision if we deny your request.

Residents of certain U.S. states have these rights under state law. These states include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and others with comprehensive privacy laws. We extend these rights to all customers where reasonably possible.

How to make a request: Email staff@helloterpenes.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." You may also write to us at the address below. We will verify your identity before acting on your request, usually by matching information we already have. You may use an authorized agent, who must show proof of your permission. We will respond within the time required by law, usually within 45 days.

No discrimination: We will not deny you service or charge you different prices because you used your privacy rights.

Appeals: If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact your state attorney general.

California "Shine the Light": California residents may ask once per year whether we shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing. We do not share personal information this way.

10. International Visitors

We are based in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. U.S. data protection laws may differ from those where you live. By using the Site or ordering from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services, such as Instagram and LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and change the "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will give additional notice, such as a notice on the Site or an email.
